Wax allows you to attach metadata to tracks as well as recordings.

When you do, you get more information about the contents of each track while you are playing a recording.

In the first example, the track metadata tells us the composer of the work whose title identifies the track.

The second example is from a tribute to the blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. All the songs are by Stevie, but each track is performed by a different musician. Wax makes it easy to identify the performers.

In the third example, track groups collect the movements of each concerto. The identities of the editors/arrangers apply to all three movements, so we attached those names to the track group.

You are free to use track and track group metadata however you want.
